I see girls post all of these things about how the guy needs to treat her right and not be a complete jerk to her and to surprise her, etc. But I never see anything about how girls need to treat guys right.

Don’t get me wrong, the way a guy treats a girl is very important. But I think it is just as equally important for a girl to treat a guy just as kind as he should treat her.

Here’s what I think:

• Guys shouldn’t be the only ones to pay for things. Girls should do the pay every now and again.
• It’s not just the guy’s job to surprise the girl. EX: As many times as the guy hugs you from behind, you should do it to him too.
• Send him good morning texts. If it means a lot to you, think about how much he’ll love it.
• Write him love letters every once in a while.
• Girls always say that a guy should treat a girl how they would want their daughter to be treated, but think about it the other way. What would you do if you saw your son giving everything in the relationship and his girl doing nothing? Personally, I would be annoyed.

I could go on but I think I’m gonna stop here.

So ladies, don’t let the guy do all the work. A relationship should be a balance in all areas.

I’m glad to see I’m not alone. Love is a two-way street after all. Whether you’re a male dating a female, female dating male, male dating male, female dating someone of non-binary gender, whatever, if you truly love that person, you’ll put time, effort, and resources (i.e. money) into making them happy.
